Gateways
Overview
Gateways provide a way for Identity Management platforms and other applications to access and manipulate the adapter entity contexts using industry standard protocols.
Configuration
A list of configured gateways is available on the Gateways tab. Gateways can be configured from this page.
New gateways can be added by clicking on Add a new Gateway in the Operations menu.
The configuration process of each type of gateway is specific to the protocol that it uses. For more information on the built-in gateways, refer to the following pages:
Gateways can be disabled from the gateway details pages, or from the gateways index page. Disabling a gateway stops it from being able to accept incoming requests, and frees up any system resources it may have been utilising, such as network ports.
